Foundation and Donations
Verita foundation has a very simple core message: Children are the heart of this world.
Verita Foundation’s mission is to allow and support our children to share their message with the world, to protect them and ensure a healthy, normal, loving space for them to grow.
Our main goal is to help children in distress be able to take control of their future and actively shape it thanks to access to high quality early learning and education.
Verita 4 All Foundation’s mission is to allow and support our children to share their message with the world, to protect them and ensure a healthy, normal, loving space for them to grow.
We are using education as a catalyst to empower and inspire underprivileged children, helping them to develop the life skills necessary to have a fulfilling, self sustainable life.
What we do
We are currently undergoing a project named “Creste Liber” for a number of 30 children at Sf. Maria orphanage in Bucharest.
Our goal is to help reintegrate these children in society by the age of 18 when they will leave the orphanage. Once they will be out of this institution, we want them to be able to find a job and have a balanced, happy life.
We are doing this by weekly organizing self development workshops such as: Music & Arts, Vocational mentoring, Foreign Languages, Computer skills, Basic Economy, Math, Literature, Science, Dancing, Summer & Winter camps.
We support the development of individual skills, we search for innovative possible solutions and we act in a targeted way in order to improve the children’s situation over the long term. The involvement is concentrated on few chosen areas such as developing new skills or improving the existing ones. Also, it is important to emphasize on the fact that before admission to such institutions, most of these children had been exposed to various types of problems impinging on their lives. Some situations had been traumatic and some others highly depressing. These past problems continue to affect the children’s present as a result of which many children suffer from emotional and behavioral disorders. Neither the schools nor the daily Social Assistants have guidance and proper training that can provide any specific solutions and treatment to these problems. Hence there appears to exist a corresponding relationship between the problems encountered in the past, current emotional and behavioral patterns and educational achievement.
Therefore, we will also focus on dealing with this problem by providing qualified psychologists and psychotherapists that will work on an individual or group basis with these children so that they will better assimilate information from school and be better socially adapted to the environment they are living in.
Our goal is to maximize individual potential, build capacities of all relevant stakeholders in education and create opportunities. The quality of early support and basic education is crucial as it is the foundation of all learning.
The Verita 4 All Foundation’s strategic priority is therefore the support of existing but poor support services in early childhood care centers, preschools and primary schools for children 3 to 18 years old as well as the improvement of their efficiency and effectiveness.
Children will develop in a safe and supportive environment, with access to quality education and staff in order to achieve their life potential.
