Take a look into our school

Verita International School’s 2017 presentation video will give you a better understanding on how do we carry out our vision in less than 5 minutes.

Problem Solvers

Verita International School uses inquiry-based learning which builds critical thinking and develops creative problem solving skills and adaptability in a complex world. Our purpose is to establish the foundation for a new kind of creative thinker.

Social-Emotional Learning

Together with an academic foundation Verita is focused on social-emotional learning. By cultivating emotional balance and harmony in every child Verita teaches children to develop inner strength and resilience.

Joy of Learning

Verita uses project based learning that provoke interest and enrich our students’ educational experience as it is known that children learn best by doing rather than just by watching and listening.

Healthy Organic Food

At Verita, we use organic ingredients to provide daily gourmet, home-made, healthy meals and snacks to all students and staff. Also, Verita School works with chefs and nutritionists to periodically adjust its menu so it is both healthy and diverse.

CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION

· We use the National Curriculum of England and Wales as the core curriculum and educational foundation for our students. The National Curriculum of England and Wales is recognised by leading universities and employers around the world as evidence of academic ability.

· The Council of British International Schools – COBIS is a representative of the British Government and other international governing bodies and verifies quality assurance of Verita School’s approach, curriculum and overall management. COBIS open doors for Verita students and learners and are a passport to success.

· Verita is in the process of introducing the IPC & IMYC comprehensive inquiry-based programmes which provide and promote robust academic learning through clear processes of teaching and with specific learning goals.

· Verita is authorised by the Romanian Ministry of National Education – National Agency for Quality Assurance in Pre-University Education – ARACIP recognises Verita as a foreign school teaching the National English curricula in Romania.

· ECIS understands the complexity of international education and provides Verita with what it takes to be a world-class school.

· From Year 4 onwards, Verita uses the International Schools Assessment to compare the performance of our students in the areas of Reading, Writing, and Mathematical Fluency with that of students at international schools around the world. The ISA is offered by ACER, the same organisation that provides the PISA tests that are written by students around the world at age 15.

We Love our Kids, And They Love Us

What Parents say about our school:

“Everything that we have experienced with Verita Since our daughter started in September 2016 has proved to us that choosing this school was the best decision we could have made. Highlights we can mention are the accessibility of the educators and their willingness to dialogue about all aspects of the school, the warmth and friendliness of the senior management, small class sizes and personal attention to the children, the broad, team and project based approach to learning and the emphasis on the emotional development and wellbeing of our children.
The biggest praise we can give though is from our 7 year old who willingly and joyfully goes to school every morning.”
Monica Reu & Ian Peatey, parents of a girl in Year 2
“Our son loves learning, but he was not very happy to go to school before coming to Verita. Alexander’s evolution in Verita School, starting 2015 was an important change for him. From a sometimes rather reserved, sceptical, negative and reluctant child, our son became a shining, self-aware, balance, resilient, happy, smiling child. He was encouraged by the warm team of teachers and guardians to express himself, to deal with negative emotions, to became self-aware of his values, skills, qualities, to be kind and tolerant to others. In other words: to nourish his values and qualities in harmony with the school. Verita did not only improve our son’s life, it was a big improvement for the life of our whole family!”
Andreia & Pieter Wessel, parents of a boy in Year 6
“Verita School is like second family for Toma: he feels loved, appreciated and very happy that he can play all day learning new things. The staff is very responsible and open-minded: they have an unique way of caring and teaching kids. They understood that education must be a balance between social and emotional development and knowledge; it just so happens! Also we appreciate a very good communication with the teachers and with the other members of the school if it is necessary.”
Nadia Garet, mother of a boy in Reception Class
“Verita School a personal education”
Sara Mørk‎ & Óli Þór Árnason, parents of three children in Reception Class, Year 5 & 7
“Verita School is a place where Toma not only receives new information. He has the space to develop socially and emotionally and his particular needs are taken into account. We found at Verita a place that puts play into study, and study into play. Just as it should be for any child.”
Alina & Paul Kasprovschi, parents of a boy in Year 2
